Open To look inside a file or a folder to view its contents. To open a fiel or folder, either double click on it, right click on it and select Open from the pop up Menu, or select it, go to the File Menu  and click Open.

Operating System The software that controls the running of the computer, allowing, for example, programs to comunicate with hardware devices such asprinters. Windows is now the most popular operating sustem for PC's.

Orientation An option available when creating a document. Users can choose to set up a page as either Landscape or Portrait depending on how they want the final version of the document to appear.
